This is the ranch that we have been going to annually. My dad, brother & son have been doing it for the last five or six years. Last year was my first year (I hunt with a camera) and this is the first trip since my dad's passing away last January. |

There are a million stories in the Texas outback that are lost to antiquity. I was told that these were mostly sheep farms fifty to a hundred years, or so, ago. |

They sure do make for some purdy photography though. |

Playing with the settings on my camera, I shot this in negative. You have entered a new dimension... You have entered [pause] the twilight zone. |

Posing for the camera. A little forked horn white tail is listening for hazards. We're only allowed does, so all any of us can do is admire the profile. |

Another, larger, buck shows up to display his wares. Although larger, the new buck doesn't much more of a rack. |

And a voice from Heaven said, "Let there be Texas," and there was. God created it, but I'll keep California and just visit TX. |

Patrick finally got his on our last day. The kid is an awesome shot! He's a chip off of the old Grampa! |

Where's my Border Collie when I need him? Brady, TX is the "Goat BBQ Capital of the World". I don't know if these guys have a future on the grill or if they're here for wool or what, but there are some purdy ones. |
