Here we are about to set out for London from our B&B, The Abcorn
Guest House (N:55°56.012 / W:03°10.466).
The last full day in the UK was set as the day to drive from
Edinburgh to London - about an eight hour drive. |
 |
I think it was on the drive from York to Inverness that we developed
a game saying the names of, and pointing to, the livestock we seen.
The game was primarily for Shannon's benefiit and by the time we got to
Scotland she could tell the difference between a sheep and a cow.
Here we saw a rancher on a quad-runner with a border collie driving his
cattle. |
 |
After the last cow, the dog returned for the sheep. |
 |
We got a lot of rain on the way down, which made for slow-going. |
 |
Hey mom! There's a leprechaun up ahead with his pot of gold
and he's driving a B-mer!! I know leprechauns are Irish, but he
was on holiday as well, apparently. |
